The Active Crystal collection, resulting from a collaboration between electronics consumer giant Philips and the acclaimed jewellers Swarovski, consists of a collection of designer flash drives and earphones that are sure to set pulses racing.

Certainly in the case of USB flash drives, the fusion between jewellery and solid state memory is nothing new but what sets these designs apart is their simplistic, beautifully understated elegance.

As Rudy Provoost, Chief Executive Officer of Philips puts it: “We are combining luxurious design with the practical, everyday benefits of consumer electronics to complement Philips’ brand promise “sense and simplicity” and Swarovski brand promise of Poetry & Precision.”
