We have to say from the outset that any product, within reason, that serves to breathe a second life into something otherwise destined for landfill disposal is certain to receive a warm welcome from us here at e-Potpourri, and this is especially the case when it comes to these decidedly urban belts made from recycled bicycle tyres.

Available in two styles, slick or semi-slick, each handmade Recycled Tyre Belt even comes with a brief history as to where the tire originated and how far it has travelled with its wear and tear serving to make each belt a true original.

Velo-re’s Recycled Tyre Belts come in two sizes and, should you need to make adjustments you can simply cut them to the required size with a pair of scissors.

The belts, which are available in black (though the above featured belt looks unmistakably blue to us) retail for around £30 each.
