In all honesty, in the main, it would be true to say that vases are not the most riveting of items – but this Anatomical Heart Vase from Esque Studio is hardly your run-of-the-mill vase.
Made to order, measuring five inches in height and limited to just 250 signed units, this Anatomical Heart Vase is, as its name suggests, a faithful, anatomically correct representation of a human heart hand blown from strawberry and aqua tinted glass and, whilst offering a strikingly designed receptacle for dying flowers, serves also to remind us (albeit somewhat beautifully) of our own mortality.
Esque Studio’s Anatomical Heart Vase retails for around $450 / £226 / €304 with a portion of each sale being donated to the Heart Foundation.
