There’s fish tanks and there’s aquariums, and there’s aquariums and then there’s this BiOrb SpyOrb which, with its minimalistic, beautifully curved form is far removed from the rather non-descript rectangular aquariums that dominate the market.

The BiOrb SpyOrb, which is available in black, white and silver, and boasts a capacity of 30 litres (8 US gallons), is manufactured from hardwearing acrylic and is supplied complete with integral filter, air pump, 12V transformer, halogen lighting unit – LED lighting is an optional extra – water treatment, aquatic decor and fish food. All you need is the fish – though you may also need the marine conversion kit and tropical heater pack dependant on the sort of fish you intend to introduce.
A stylish addition to home or office, the BiOrb SpyOrb retails for around €200 / $296 / £150.

As early as that? Actually, you do have a point as we know they have somewhat of a reputation for showcasing products that may or may not appear within X amount of years. Which is a shame, as it does not enamor them to potential customers.
Incidentally, your comment is officially the first comment on the site from a reader and, by way of celebration (and thanks) I’d like to buy you a drink. Mail me via the site’s contact form as to how I can get enough for a few beers your way and I’ll be in touch.
