Billed as being ‘a celebration of purist elegance’ this gorgeously retro Chronotronix V400 Nixie Tube Clock comes with six 0.61” tubes mounted on a cherry wood base finished with a black anodized aluminium (which serves to reflect the light from the tubes in a hauntingly beautiful fashion) but, despite the use of tubes and the clocks retro styling, it boasts technology far advanced from that of yesteryear.

Apart from utilising Cathode Poisoning Prevention to increase the life of the tubes, the Chronotronix V400 Nixie Tube Clock boasts supreme accuracy thanks to state of the art electronic circuitry resulting in an accuracy of within 0.0003 seconds per minute and is capable of displaying the time in either twelve or twenty-four hour format, as well as the date. It also comes with various cross-fading effects, alarm clock functionality and a user programmable power-down mode to help increase the life expectancy of the tubes as well as save on energy.
