When it comes to weather stations, few companies can boast a reputation quite like Oregon Scientific – and with products such this TimeLight Atomic Weather Forecasting Projection Clock it’s not hard to understand why.
The TimLight serves two functions, that of a compact atomic alarm clock with time projection (with adaptive light intensity ensuring that the projected details remain readable in all lighting conditions) as well as a weather station offering 12 and 24 hour advanced weather forecasting with the resulting details being displayed on a coloured LCD screen. Interestingly, however, its use of colour is not merely for aesthetic purposes as the colours used allow an at-at-glance snapshot as to the weather conditions (Sunny–Red/Orange, Partly Cloudy–Pink, Cloudy–Turquoise, Rainy–Purple, Snowy–Green).

Capable of displaying indoor and outdoor temperatures courtesy of a wireless sensor (thus allowing you to plan your day’s wardrobe before even venturing out of bed), Oregon Scientific’s TimeLight also comes with crescendo alarm with 8 minute snooze and a calendar and retails for around $100.
