Motorised Monocycle – A Novel Means Of Getting From A to B

Whilst we’ve never featured any kind of transportation device here on EP we felt compelled to make a notable exception on coming across this Motorised Monocycle which is sure to get you noticed as you power through the streets (except that it would be illegal to do so – see below).

Capable of speeds of up to 25 mph, this Motorised Monocycle is a modern take on an original design that dates back to 1869 and is powered by a 31cc four-stroke engine which offers up to two hours of endurance on a mere ½ gallon of fuel (though the device is unfortunately not street legal so you’ll be restricted to running the device on private land only).

Steered by leaning, the Motorised Monocycle can seat persons of up to 6’ 3” in height and weighing up to 275 lbs and we think that, as far as single seater transportation devices are concerned, this is way on the cool side – though it’ll set you back a wallet crunching $13,000.
