Quite why you would want to sleep on a bed that’s lit up like a football stadium is, in all honesty, quite beyond us but we felt compelled to feature this somewhat quirky bed, known as the Dream and designed by Slide Italian Design if only due to its novelty value.
The Dream consists of what’s described as ‘rotationally moulded’ polyethylene base within which are no less than fourteen 11W energy saving bulbs and comes with a 1.5m cord with switch and a somewhat curious choice of green mattress.
Measuring in at 1720 x 2150 x 580mm, the Dream will set you back €2984 / €4711inclusive of tax and exclusive of shipping - though, we it comes to designer beds, we much prefer the previously featured Alberto Frias Transport Pod Water Bed.

It’s pretty cool, but its blue and purple stylings and general look resemble a bong too much for me to really take it seriously.
