Whilst wind-up torches and radios are fairly common these days this PowerPlus Piranha rotary shaver is, whilst not the first, certainly one of the most well realised eco shavers we’ve come across in using an internal dynamo to produce the necessary charge for a close shave.

Billed as being ‘great for travelling, camping, commuting, or just to avoid needing electricity’ the PowerPlus Piranha Wind-Up Shaver comes supplied with two flexible shaving heads and an integral trimmer and, just in case you cannot be bothered to crank the dynamo for the required charge for a shave it even comes with an AC charger allowing the PowerPlus Piranha to be charged from the mains.

The PowerPlus Piranha Wind-Up Shaver retails for just shy of $25.
