We’ve never hidden our particular penchant for all things retro here on EP, especially when said items fuse the latest in technology with yesteryear inspired aesthetics – which just happens to be something that this new Sanyo HNV-M70 ALBO WiFi Digital Photo Frame not only manages to so, but does so with such aplomb.

Sporting a 7” LCD display offering 800×480 resolution which will automatically switch between landscape and portrait modes depending on the orientation of the screen, the WinCE 5.0 powered Sanyo HNV-M70 ALBO boasts 802.11b/g WiFi, 256 megabytes of onboard storage paired with an integrated multi-card reader and, apart from displaying your photos can also display RSS feeds and even email courtesy of its wireless connectivity and, as if that were not enough, it’ll also serve as a multimedia player allowing for video display.

Set to be released in Japan next month, Sanyo’s beautifully retro themed HNV-M70 ALBO WiFi Digital Photo Frame will be made available in black and green and is expected to retail for the equivalent of $423.
