Having seen – and, indeed, featured – novel and especially distinctive lighting solutions such as this Milky Light (Designer Dachshund Interactive LED Ambient Lamp) this particular floor based light, known that the Spacewalker, takes on a distinctly humanoid form whilst offering the same degree playfulness.

The Spacewalker Floor Lamp is described by its designer, Constantin Wortmann, as follows:

‘This friendly creature puts a smile on your face. It is fun, playful. As if it just jumped out of its space-craft, weightless, exploring new territory. Available as a suspension or standing lamp. Designed to spice up big areas and to landmark a building. And would it not be funny to see the Spacewalker in the back of your garden?’
